Edition 3 Rising AIQ Report

Eight category-relative Rising AIQ movements show how emerging-product recommendations changed across Cooper’s third immutable edition.

How Rising AIQ Differs

Rising AIQ is a standalone, category-relative answer to Cooper's emerging-software question. It does not replace Best and should be compared only with the same product, category, and Rising scope in another immutable edition.

Edition 3 covers July 20 through July 26, 2026, under scoring version aiq-v2. The report keeps the exact category positions from ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, and Perplexity visible rather than treating assistant breadth as unanimity.

Rising is most useful as a change signal, not a shortcut to the Best answer. A new entrant can lead the emerging-product question while a different, more established product leads Best, Most affordable, or Easiest to set up. That difference is part of the finding. The report therefore follows both rank movement and assistant participation inside the Rising scope, then points back to the hub reports for the other three buyer questions. It does not blend their scores, transfer evidence between them, or treat appearance on one assistant as market-wide agreement.

Edition 3 Rising Movement

Rising leadership changed in 37 of 80 categories and held in 43. Among the current leaders, 20 rank with all four assistants, 21 with three, 18 with two, and 21 with one. 6 rank #1 with every assistant.

Those are counts across the edition, not a cross-category leaderboard. The eight highlights below select one market from each software hub and keep every movement inside that market.

Breadth Is Not Unanimity

The selected examples range from one-assistant entrants to a four-assistant leader. A product appearing across more assistants has broader measured visibility, but its individual positions still determine whether those assistants agree.

An absent position means no category rank in the Rising scope for that assistant; it does not imply a negative judgment. Source and mention counts describe the evidence footprint beside each result, not the reason for its rank.
